Behind John is a successful 30-year career in financial services and insurance. Throughout his career he built successful teams in Finance and Marketing, and was recognized for developing and executing high profile, cross organizational strategic initiatives that included consolidation of multiple financial operations, creating and utilization of brand and internet strategies, and building premier marketing sponsorship programs and events with the PGA TOUR, NASCAR, the NFL, the NHL, Ohio State, and more. With a focus on key metrics, he is known for streamlining operations and improving.

John has a strong intellectual curiosity and is viewed as a high character individual, consistently professional, and is a strong relationship builder. He is known as a quick study, recognizes what is important, creates priorities, and remains focused on execution.

John earned his undergraduate degree in accounting and finance from The Ohio State University. He sat passed CPA (inactive), CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) and CIA (Certified Internal Auditor), and CM&AA (Certified Merger & Acquisition Advisor) exams. He is a past member of The Ohio Society of CPAs and American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He has a number of leadership development programs under his belt including the Center for Creative Leadership in Cambridge, MA.

He and his wife are a longtime residents of Dublin, OH. They have three adult children. John was active in his sons’ hockey endeavors coaching their teams and serving as president of the high school hockey association. He and his family are active in their church and other initiatives. They enjoy time together through family gatherings, golf, skiing, travel, restoring cars, rehabbing homes, and more.
